I believe finding our own path begins in the body. As we learn to notice the sensations, breathing rhythms and emotions we carry in our body, we develop a felt-sense, a way of understanding ourselves that is beyond the mental realm, beyond the limits of cognitive awareness. When we stop trying to fix our problems and simply try to feel them, we make a deeper connection to our authentic self. Through the practice of embodied attention combined with mindful breathing and steady presence, we can create the conditions for real transformation: Real change moves beneath the level of thought, into the nervous system and connective tissue where stuck patterns live. It is through developing a body-based awareness that space is opened up to find your own path.
